To all of our loyal customers and friends, we apologize for the inconvenience our abrupt closing may have caused these past few days.
To briefly explain our dilemma, the City of Toledo’s water department came by Tuesday to do some minor repairs on a water line just outside our establishment. The repairs shut off water to Durdell’s Music, two nearby residents, and Yours Truly. Per routine, we were all put under a Boil Advisory while the water was being tested to make sure it was safe for consumption. To our dismay, this process requires at least 2 days worth of testing and samples, sent to a lab in Columbus, Ohio for approval. While this may have been no biggie for our neighbors this threw a major wrench in our business.
After following up with the Health Department we were told we were not allowed to serve any drinks (coffee, smoothies, etc) unless they were bottled or canned. We also were unable to serve food. Needless to say, although we could have been open to sell these items, we would not have met our bottom line. So in short, the wisest thing to do was close up shop for a few days.
GRAND RE-OPENING!!
In the interim we’ve been devising a plan to come back in a really big way. Starting Monday March 22 we will celebrating our GRAND RE-OPENING!!
Starting Monday March 22 thru April 30 we will be offering the following specials to all of our friends:
MONDAYS: FREE 12 OZ LATTES 10AM-6PM
TUESDAYS: FREE COOKIES with any drink
WEDNESDAYS: $1.50 SMOOTHIES
THURSDAY: ALL PANINI SANDWICHES $3! 11pm-6pm
FRIDAY: FREE LEMONADE COOLERS 10AM-6PM
