About our Coffee

The Ground Level has partnered with Toledo’s own Flying Rhino Coffee. This partnership allows us to serve fresh locally roasted coffee and authentic coffee drinks.  We carry the following roasts:

JUNGLE JIVE: This is a 4 bean blend that provides the entire rainbow experience of taste. It has the bright, effervescent quality at the top, a fullness through the middle range, and a deep bass foundation at the bottom. This is our premier espresso blend crafted in a Northern Italian style, which also makes a great cup of regularly brewed coffee.

MEDIUM-DARK ROAST: A blend of three different growing regions that provide a deep, rich, velvety, sit back and close your eyes kind of coffee. Caramel & chocolate notes abound. This is a great blend for taking the time to contemplate the world.

DARK ROAST: A single origin Costa Rican bean that has been roasted to provide a solid foundation of flavor. Excellent as a base for adding other flavorings. It is full bodied with robust richness analogous to a good burgundy wine.

MEDIUM ROAST: A peaberry is when a single coffee bean (seed) grows inside a cherry rather than the usual two beans. This coffee is light-bodied and prized for its intense aroma and vibrant flavor.

MEDIUM ROAST: A single origin, medium bodied coffee with a hint of spice leading into chocolate flavors midway into your cup. From the La Flor farm in the Café Antigua region.

We have brand new equipment, including the Spanish Expobar Expresso Machine, and properly trained baristas to make the best coffee drinks.
